New York-based artist Simon Lo creates below incredible, scaled-down versions of traditional Japanese houses full of tiny hand-crafted items. Each charming miniature is planned and hand-built with incredible attention to detail. If you only look at the corner of the house, you might think it is actually a real one. Wooden verandas, sliding doors, tatami mat flooring, all the things a traditional Japanese house should have can all be found in Lo’s miniature versions and more. From the furniture to the wallpaper, each tiny abode is entirely unique and tells the story of the type of person that might inhabit them. Lu even installed LED lights in those building that can be turned on and off. Lo sell his miniature house on Etsy and each one is around 700 USD depends on the complexity.
