A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. The basic form of most mandalas is a square with four gates containing a circle with a center point. However, in these days, it has been changed quite a lot in some creative hands of artists, such as Kathy Klein’s flower mandalas(here and here). While in today’s post, we would like to present another series of nature mandalas from James Brunt. Using the natural materials (such as twigs, rocks, and leaves) he finds in forests, parks, and beaches, Brunt arranges them in nature mandalas, spirals and concentric circles.

Scroll down to enjoy some of Brunt’s work. If you like, you can also buy the print from Brunt’s Etsy shop. So you can enjoy that peaceful mind from home.
