Neutral decor helps your potential buyers see themselves living there, and it is less likely to send up a red flag when they are going from room to room. Neutral decor can mean swapping out a bright or drastic comforter set for a more neutral tone. You can get rid of strange or niche pictures and go for ones that are much less specific to one or two demographics. This doesn’t mean that you have to spend a small fortune on decorations, as some homeowners may even find that they just have to eliminate items rather than add anything to the decor of the house.
