Heirloom is an installation by artist Rena Detrixhe who uses thousands of collected seeds to create lace-like patterns on a large piece of sheer fabric. Viewed from far away, it just looks like a normal lace tablecloth, but when get closer, the seeds appears as if they are hovering just above the surface. The idea behind this installation is to create a platform to discuss the relationship between art and environment.
