There are many artists try to create dress with different material, most usually, all kinds of paper. But “Wearable Foods” we presented today by Korean artist Yeonju Sung is something totally abnormal. With these outfits, you won’t have to worry about getting food on your clothes – you are actually wearing them. Beautifully, they are constructed entirely out of edible items, from tomato, to mushroom and eggplant. However, these beautiful outfits can’t last long – they will disappear due to the nature of food and gets gradually changed into the hideous state fading its shape and color in the process. The whole work from Yeonju Sung is try to deal with the actual reality and the made-up reality – unwearable clothing made out of edible material but no one want to eat them.
