When just look at the food itself without any referencing object (hands or real food), it is so easily got fooled and think these food are real. While in fact, all these fruits, vegetables, bread and other items are made with miniature clay sculptures by Ukrainian artist Tanya.

Unlike most food sculptures which have smooth, perfect looking, Tanya’s creations are full of imperfection. And those imperfection is actually the reason making Tanya’s work look so realistic. Bruises on bananas’ skin, dent on apple and the pith on orange, such details makes you wonder is there any kinds of magic that turn them into miniature clay sculptures from real things.

I have no idea how Tanya manage to do that. There are some videos show the process of Tanya’s creation on Instagram. And you can find more of other kinds of clay sculptures Tanya created.
