If you are looking for some places like that, the Song Saa Private Island Resort at the gulf of Thailand might be one of your options, where you can find untainted beaches, with sparkly white sands.
Located about 4 hours northwest of Toronto, Canada, eco-friendly resort E’terra Samara will soon add a series of 12 environmentally-friendly tree-house villas that will provide visitors with extreme luxury in the form of a futuristic design. Developed by Farrow Partnership Architects, the concept is designed to minimize its footprint on this UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve and have people interact with wild nature and live in it without disturbing.
The structure is designed to be suspended from the tree’s trunk, rather than following the common practice of nailing to the tree, thereby hugging the tree rather than piercing its flesh. For the treehouse itself, it will provide a nested bedroom area, a furnished living space, a composting toilet, and an eco-friendly shower, all sheltered from various weather conditions by a PTFE fiberglass-coated non-toxic fabric roof.
This resort-like property is located in Mill Valley, a city in Marin County, California, USA. It was recently redesigned and expanded for comfortable living by Urrutia Design. This six bedroom, five and a half bath residence sits among beautiful oak trees and comes with an amazing view over the garden. Refreshing and breezy, the surrounding is pretty comfortable and it inspires tranquility.
This is a pretty interesting project from h2o Architects, who was required to enlarge the living area, without touching the structure. Basically, the request was to realize: increase the living space without touching the structure, create 2 bathrooms instead of the one existing, preserve the number of beds, 8 beds in 55m2, all while maintaining separate circulations for each.
